Smakotunia: (Тalisman х Neptun, 133-09) - Hybrid form of the early-medium period of maturation. The beginning of coloring of berries in the Kyiv region on July 20-25, the beginning of ripening on August 20, full maturity on September 1-5. The flower is bisexual. In the first fruiting of the seedling in 2013, 10 clusters were left. The clusters turned out to be large, 600 - 1200 grams.

The yield of the form is very high, the fruitfulness is 2-3 bunches per shoot. Gradually, the load increased and already in the fourth fruiting of the seedling, 30 bunches were left after normalization. In 2015, a Neptune bush was grafted near the house on the roof of the veranda. In 2016, 18 clusters were left on this graft after normalization.

The clusters are large, on the seedling the clusters are loose 400 - 600 grams, on the grafting the clusters are dense 600 - 1200 grams. The berries are medium, single-caliber 6 - 8 grams, rounded, black with a strong spring. The pulp is dense, crunchy, the taste is harmonious. When fully ripe, the berries have an original unique flavor.

The strength of growth is great, very large when grafted. Handles overload very well. Ripening of the vine is early, for the entire length of the shoot. Disease resistance is high. Susceptibility to mildew is about 2-2.5, to oidium 2.5-3.

Frost resistance about - 25 gr.s. Among the shortcomings, I can still note a slightly dense bunch on the vaccination in 2016. At the same time, the berries do not burst and are not damaged by wasps. The shape of the grapes is well preserved in the barn until the New Year. Based on the results of four fruitings on a seedling and one on a graft, the form was selected to the elite for further testing and reproduction in 2016.

This 2017 I am doing a form test under a good load. Therefore, after normalization, 42 bunches were left on this graft, almost one bunch per shoot. On the extreme shoots of fruit arrows, two clusters.

The clusters turned out to be large, medium loose, weighing 800 - 1200 grams. The berries are medium, single-caliber 6 - 8 grams. This season has shown the correctness of the choice. With a heavy load, the shape of the grapes coped with dignity! The total yield of grapes per bush was approximately 35 kg.

Among the shortcomings, I can still note a slightly dense cluster on the scion. At the same time, the berries do not crack and are not damaged by wasps. The form of grapes is well preserved for 30-40 days.

The Smakotunya grape variety was entered into the State Register of Varieties of Ukraine as of December 21, 2022.
