Morozko

Мorozko: (Zaporizhia gift x Kishmish winter-hardy black, 411-11) - a new hybrid form of early-medium ripening grapes. Sultana. There are no seeds, there are practically no rudiments.
Ripening in the conditions of the Kyiv region occurs at the beginning of September. The flower is female.
Bunches are loose, weighing 300 - 500 grams. Coloring of berries in a bunch is simultaneous, fast, two weeks before ripening. The berries are round or oval, dark purple, almost the same, weighing 2-3 grams. The pulp is medium-dense, crispy. The taste of berries is harmonious, has a good balance of sugar and acid. The skin of the berries is strong.
The power of growth of the hybrid form of grapes is great, the yield is high. Fertility 2-3 bunches per shoot. The vine ripens early, long before the berries ripen. Resistance to diseases is increased, at the level of 2.5 - 3 points. The form is suitable for the production of raisins. The bunches left on the veranda lay until spring and dried to raisins, without mold and rot.
Frost resistance - 28, -29 degrees Celsius. When cuttings were frozen in a freezer for 24 hours at the maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, 80% of cells were preserved; at - 30 degrees Celsius (one day at the maximum temperature), spare buds survived. The form was selected among the elite for further testing and breeding in 2014. Working name Morozko.
